Hi, I’m Dr. Treloar.
I'm a fellowship-trained orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon based in Brooklyn, New York. From my training experiences across New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Boston, to my on-field participation with the New England Patriots and Boston College football teams, to the operating rooms at SUNY Downstate and across Brooklyn and The Bronx, I'm committed to getting you back to the activities you love — with care you can trust.
My Approach
I treat every patient the way I'd want to be treated — with honesty, a clear plan, and respect for your time. My goal is to get you an accurate diagnosis, explain your options in plain language, and find the best path back to full activity, whether that's surgery or not.
Evidence-Based Care
Every recommendation is grounded in the latest research and my training at Harvard, Mass General, and USC. I stay current so you get the best available treatment — not just the most common ones.
Getting you Back
Whether you're a weekend warrior or a competitive athlete, the goal is the same: return you to what you love doing, as safely and as quickly as possible.
Common Conditions We Treat
Whether from sports or everyday activity, ligament injuries can sideline you. We offer both surgical and non-surgical options to get you stable and moving again.
ACL & Knee Ligament Tears
Shoulder pain from a torn rotator cuff can make even simple tasks difficult. Treatment ranges from physical therapy to minimally invasive arthroscopic repair.
Rotator Cuff Tears
One of the most common knee injuries in active people. Depending on the tear, we may recommend rehab, repair, or a minor arthroscopic procedure.
Meniscus Tears
Recurrent dislocations or a feeling of looseness in the shoulder often require surgical stabilization to prevent long-term damage.
