Research & Publications

Dr. Treloar is an active researcher with publications in leading orthopaedic journals including the Spine Journal, Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, and The Physician and Sportsmedicine. His research focuses on sports injury epidemiology, return-to-sport outcomes, and healthcare economics in orthopaedics. He has presented at national and international meetings including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the European Society of Sports Traumatology. He currently serves as a Level 1 Editor for Orthobullets, where he has authored over 200 educational questions for orthopaedic trainees.

Education & Training

Dr. Treloar graduated first in his class from Tulane University School of Medicine with a 4.0 GPA, earning his MD alongside an MBA in Finance from Tulane's Freeman School of Business. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a junior — a distinction reserved for the top medical students in the country."

He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at USC Keck School of Medicine and LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. During his fellowship, he served as an assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, Boston College Football, and Harvard Athletics.
